The best part of spring as far as my garden is concerned is my peach tree!

Matt planted it when he was in 2nd Grade as an Earth Day project and we have been enjoying it every minute since then!

There's nothing quite like a burst of vibrant pink filling the garden!

And it's neighbor, our lemon tree is lookin' mighty fine too!

Everything is blooming most recklessly; if it were voices instead of colors, there would be an unbelievable shrieking into the heart of the night. ~Rainer Maria Rilke

Do you get fruit on the peach tree? Just wondering how long it takes? A lemon tree? Wow. I can't imagine being able to walk outside and use a lemon in cooking. That would be brilliant.
Thanks, Kim. Our peach harvest is in August. The lemon tree is supposed to fruit in the winter, but it's a little mixed up (but that's fine with us!)
