Don't you LOVE the morning after a good rain?  The whole world just seems rinsed off, bright, fresh and new!



Plus everything has a sparkle!



So, let me get back to me in my jammies.

(Which you will NOT get to see a picture of, even though I love you guys and do like to tell the complete story....it just ain't happenin')





I was enjoying my morning oatmeal and coffee when I noticed the morning sun was making the grass shimmer like diamonds....

So right then and there, I dropped my oatmeal spoon (of course after I took a big ole bite to sustain me) grabbed my camera and macro lens and headed out back.

I saved my favorite portrait for last - don't you love the way you can see the reflection of the grass, the mountains and a glorious starburst from the sun????  Wow!

Definitely worth the breakfast interruption! .
