Cross of Victory 2012

The day before Easter our church invites all the kids to bring a friend and enjoy a morning of fun!
Essentially, it's a one day Vacation Bible School.



The fun starts with some lively (and possibly a bit crazy) music...



Then the kids are divided into groups to rotate through a morning of fun activities....like an Easter egg hunt.




But this egg hunt was a bit unusual - the kids were asked not to open the eggs until they were in the story room and were directed to.   Because the eggs held elements of the story.



The book we shared is "Benjamin's Box"  (In the book, Benjamin lives during the days of Christ.   When Jesus comes to Jerusalem, Benjamin decides to follow Him and find out who He really is. At first, he thinks Jesus is a teacher, then a king. At last, Benjamin learns the good news and saves some treasures in his box)



Then craft time....and you'll see two more fun activities tomorrow!
