So let me catch you up. We just had a full week of Vacation Bible School.
Then everyone comes back that evening to perform a concert of their amazing songs!
The sanctuary is packed with performers and their loved ones - it's such an AMAZING time!
When that's over, we all spill outside to enjoy a CARNIVAL!
Each of the 170 VBS volunteers plans and sets up a carnival booth for the kids to enjoy.
So the booths are always very creative! And some are yummy!
(Like this next one - a whipped cream eating contest!)
You know what I love best about this carnival?
(Okay, next to cute kids having a blast? It's that no one gives prizes and the kids don't care.)
Where do see THAT in this day and age?
I think it says that kids just want to have fun and interact -- they don't need presents and do-dads all the time!
Ahhh.....VBS we had fun, but we're all exhausted and ready to pack you away until next year!
