Traffic!

Well, of course I always arrive early for my photo sessions.  I like to stroll around, checking the lighting, planning my portraits and poses, etc.

I arrived early enough for Kayla's session (see yesterday's blog)  that I had time to take a few photos of the beautiful birds.

Ducks mostly, but then I spotted a beautiful Egret.

Now here's where the blog title "TRAFFIC" comes in.

I need you to use your imagination a bit, pretend you are hearing a traffic jam in New York City.  (Cuz that's what I hear when I see this next photo!)

Do you hear it?   BEEP, beep, beeeeeep, honk, HONK, engines roaring, honk, beep, maybe someone shouting, "hey buddy, get out of the way!"  -- you get the idea, right?

Can you hear it?

Now fill that in as this poor little egret is trying to catch his dinner and a whole mess 'o traffic zooms by:

Come on, work with me here people!    I can't hear you!

"beep, beeeeeep, honk, honk, engines roaring, honk, beep, maybe someone shouting, "hey buddy, get out of the way!"

Now the poor little egret, whose feathers are still blowing from the commotion, is saying to himself, "Whew - what the heck just happened?"

...um...ya...

stuff like that goes on in my head all the time.  You?

Ahem...moving on to a more peaceful scene:
