Well, we were AT the San Diego Air and Space Museum for another reason...
We stood (or sat?) in line for 4 hours to meet Buzz Aldrin!
Remember him?
(I didn't take THAT photo by the way. That's photo was taken by Neil Armstrong but I don't think he'll mind me sharing it.)
Here's Buzz in a different outfit and on a different celestial body. With my nephew.

My nephews were so excited to meet him and have him autograph books for them.

Buzz has written both an adult book and a children's book.

I'm sure thousands of people were in line -- luckily we were close to the beginning - I can't imagine how sore his hand must be by the end of the day....
(But I think it was sweet that his wife came with him and sat there to help hand him the books)

And FINALLY, one last photo. Saw this tshirt for sale in the museum gift shop
It cracks me up - so I'm going to share it with you too.

What a great reason to wait in line!! I'm sure that was exciting for your nephew:)
I would have waited in line too. How cool to have met someone who walked on the moon!
