The search for The World's Best Burger.. Part 2....Hoodad's

World's best burger?


Mike and I joined Wendy and her hubby for lunch to see if we agreed....





Well, the place certainly has ATMOSPHERE, doesn't it?


Hodads has been around since 1969 and is located in the heart of Ocean Beach's Newport Ave. 


It's been featured on numerous TV shows (from CNN to Guy Fieri's "Diners, Drive-ins and Dives") 





During our wait we took time to study the waiters and the funky decor.






Finally - THE WORLD'S BEST BURGERS arrived!


Oh YA!

How 'bout some yummy thick cut fry/wedges and ranch dippin sauce on the side....?  (Gotta have some vegetables you know)

Now look closely at these milk shakes --


And I apologize, since I was 'sniping' (remember how to snipe?  HERE) 


I was sniping across the restaurant (with my point and shoot no less) ..... but I had to show you the size of these milk shakes!  Check out the chocolate ice cream overflowing from the mug by about six inches!   


Seriously, it looks like there's about a quart of ice cream in each one of those!





And our final vote?


Absolutely incredible.  


World's Best?


Not sure, we need to try a lot more!  :P
