Our last 5th and 6th grade fun night at church ("The Edge") had a Hawaiin theme.
We had hula hoop contests.....(why is this Hawaiian? I don't know, but it seemed to fit during the planning meeting.......???)
We played Limbo.....
(This girl didn't win, by the way -- the boy behind her did!)
And for snack, the kids made tropical fruit kabobs
For the project we started with a bowl full of beads and a piece of string...
And ended up with gecko key chains!

Hmmm...I see a pattern here with Hawaii:) Looks like a lot of fun and the gecko key chains were really cute! That limbo girl was REALLY low...can't believe she was beat!
I love the concentration the boy has making his gecko key chain! Great pictures, they really captured the mood.
